This item contains all the parts to build a stair lighting strip. The LED lighting strip is 1 foot long and has 6 LED lights. One end of the strip had a male connector and the other end has a female connector, this allows the lighting strips to be connected end to end.
Have a look at the pictures below to see how to assemble your LED strip light, click on the images to enlarge them. Everything is straight forward except the LED installation, ensure the long lead of the LED is soldered to the pad that is indicated as positive on the rear of the board.
When assembling the LED strip light you do not need to always install all the components. For example if there will not be a another strip plugged into it there is no need to solder in the end connectors. Both of the terminal blocks may also not be needed. If you don't need 6 LEDs of light is is possible to operate only 3 of them. To do this install LEDs in locations D1, D3, D5 and install a resistor in location R2.
