This 5mW laser is housed in a solid metal housing. The beam focus is also fully adjustable by turning the adjustment ring on the front of the laser. The focus ring also comes in handy if you want a large dot instead of tiny spot of laser light to activate a sensor. The unit can be fully disassembled for cleaning.
